Tan Son Nhat Airport terminal guide

Terminals 1 and 3 serve domestic flights; Terminal 2 serves international flights. Confirm the terminal with your airline because assignments can change.

    Clear immigration, reclaim baggage and pass customs before the arrivals hall.

Terminal 3

    Use the airline-assigned counter and gate at T3.

Start at the correct Tan Son Nhat Airport terminal

T1, T2 and T3 serve different passenger journeys. Confirm the operating airline, flight number and terminal before arrival; airport displays are the final source for the counter, gate and baggage belt.

T1 or T3 for domestic flights

Flights within Vietnam may use Terminal 1 or Terminal 3. Use the terminal in the operating airline’s message and check again before travelling to the airport.

T2 for international flights

Terminal 2 handles border and customs formalities for international journeys. Passports, visas or e-visas and admission requirements remain the responsibility of the traveller and the relevant authorities.

Connecting between terminals

T1, T2 and T3 are separate terminals. Follow current transfer guidance and ask the airline whether baggage is checked through or must be collected and rechecked.
